There are still openings for the SEKG Helper seminar in GA next weekend. It isn't too late to join in, but don't wait! All of the information you need to attend, certify or upgrade is available right here and on the Helper seminar tab ! You don't have to be a helper to gain valuable information from this seminar...and your trained dogs are needed!

We’ve had several clubs express an interest in hosting the 2012 SEKG Championship. The club winning the bid will be announced in the next KGK.

 

õ There is a Training Helper seminar in the planning stages for this spring, stay tuned for further details and information!

This is an LV election year. A call was sent out to all club members asking for nominations and not ONE was sent in. Thankfully the current board members are willing to stay in their positions for another term. However, that doesn’t mean that they are going to stay forever. This is the last term for at least one LV board member. The end of 2012 will be the elections for new KG officers. At least one board member is planning on stepping down.

Members of the both the LV and KG board have served the organization for many years and are ready for someone else to step up. It is time for the membership to decide who they want to lead our organization in the future. Who do you want training and selecting our future helpers? Who do you trust to use our money wisely?

The leadership of your Executive Boards set the tone for the membership. Are they progressive & forward thinking? Willing to set aside personal agendas for the good of the WHOLE organization? Co-operative, yet ready to defend their
beliefs?

These are the kind of people we need to serve the organization. These are the kind of people we are willing to follow as they lead us into the future. How about you? Are you that kind of person? Now would be a good time to make your intentions known.

 

õThe South Metro Atlanta Schutzhund Club is excited to be hosting the 2012 DVG National Championship.

This event will be held October 26 -28 in Senoia, GA - just 20 minutes south of Atlanta and the Atlanta airport.

We have secured a middle school stadium, great tracking, and an elegant hotel with a bar!!

We are working hard to make this an event that competitors will enjoy and remember. Keep an eye on the DVG & SEKG websites for information coming soon!
