From Your Secretary's Desk
Renewal packages went out in mid July. If your
club has not
received their package yet, please let me know IMMEDIATELY.
I am here to help all the secretaries, but for those who are
doing their first renewals, don't hesitate to contact me with any questions
or concerns you may have. I'd rather help you now than have to rush
to get it redone later. There are no dumb questions, (well, okay, if
you ask me what your own name is, then THAT's a dumb question!) so no
matter how minor it is, I'm only an email/call away.
Remember this is an LV election year. Nomination forms have
been sent to you. Make sure these are returned by the due date so the
LV secretary can compile the list of nominees and ballots sent out.
All current LV officers with the exception of Randy Theen are
willing to continue serving, or you may have someone else in mind for
a position. Remember each club can only nominate one person for each
position.
Also it is important that club delegate forms also be returned
with your renewals. The people who are your delegates of record are
those that will vote on behalf of your club. You will want to chose
people that are able to attend the meetings and who will vote the way
their club wants.
Lastly, PLEASE remember that when you have a change in officers
that the form must go to ME as well as SANDY. There have been a couple
of secretary changes that I was unaware of because of the forms going
only to Sandy. This would have caused your renewal packages to go to
the wrong individual and perhaps make your renewals late. It is very
important that the KG Board have an up to date list of all club officers.
Especially club presidents and secretaries.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free
to contact your KG secretary at sekg@comcast.net.
